When I started pinstriping I made a blog about this to keep track of my progress.
While doing that I tought... why can't I just make one for my prime hobby wich is playing my big doghouse.
I'll just keep a diary on the gigs I play. Stuff I use. Songs I write. And lots more.
Quick reference on my past...
I first picked up the bassguitar when I was about twelve. Played the E-bass in a couple of bands growing up.
played in a punkband
played in a pop/rock band called "Blend"
played in a metalcore band called "In better days" we made it to 2nd best metalband on the Belgian concour.
In 2007 my life changed... As long as I can remember I've listened to Rock n' Roll / Rockabilly / Roots.
So I deceided to start a band with my best friend Jan Mortelmans. It had to be a rock n' roll / rockabilly band because we both just loved that music.
as from then I bought myself a doghouse and started learning. Blister after Blister ( as not knowing what I was doing I slapped my steels)
later I switched to Rotosounds but they sounded a bit to clicky for me.
At this moment I play FMI's rockabilly slap strings. the Golden ones but I kept my rotosound E string.
I have a K&K rockabilly pickup and a Hartke amp that needs replacement ;)
So nuff about my brief history ...
thanks for the coments
